ILM
Melin is offering 88 supported employment opportunities for residents of Monmouthshire.
We have been chosen as the preferred supplier to provide supported employment to 88 long-term unemployed people living in Monmouthshire through the Intermediate Labour Market project (ILM).
The ILM is funded by the European Social Fund and managed, in Wales, by the Welsh Council for Voluntary Action. Although the WCVA awards the funding, they ask local organisations to manage specific projects in job areas such as construction, retail and hospitality.
Melin has won an ILM tender for Monmouthshire for green technology/construction and over the next few months we will be working hard with local businesses to set up supported employment opportunities for people who currently face barriers to employment. If you are a business who may be able to provide supported employment opportunities or you are currently living in Monmouthhshire and unemployed contact Karen Green, ILM Project Leader on 08453 101102.
