Be Me Therapy
Be Me
Be Me offers a way of helping people cope better with many of life’s difficulties and can help resolve problems caused by anti-social behaviour.
Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) it helps people understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are linked, and teaches better ways of managing negative emotions.
Be Positive
The therapy offers a long term solution to a variety of problems affecting our communities, and promotes positive change by focusing on the here and now.
Be Empowered
Be Me is a unique service that deals with the root causes of depression, anxiety, anti-social behaviour by changing perceptions and behaviours for good.
Be Happy
If you feel someone could benefit from Be Me, give Rachel Mason or Stuart Baldwin a call on 08453101102, email beme@melinhomes.co.uk or visit www.icanbeme.co.uk.
How does Be Me work?
• Clients are referred to us by you and we will put them in contact with one of our therapists.
• The client must start the process of working towards a positive future by telephoning the case worker themselves.
• The therapy consists of up to 10 one hour weekly sessions.
• The client develops their own skills by putting into practice what has been learned and completing tasks at home.
• The sessions are entirely confidential, though we do monitor the service we provide by asking the client to complete a Satisfaction Survey at the end of the process will also remain private.
