Apply for an education bursary

Melin's education bursary programme provides up to £3,000 every year to help residents pursue further education goals and improve their career prospects.

In the past, our education bursary has helped residents pay course fees, buy books and computers and fund travel expenses to or from universities and colleges.  Many of the recipients are returning to education for the first time since leaving school, some of them having left with few or no qualifications.  We have a number of case studies of residents who have qualified for our education bursary.

If you're a Melin resident over the age of 18 and would like help to pursue your chosen career or do some vocational training, please complete the application form or you can contact Alan Hughes or Caroline Morgan on 08453 101102 for more details.

Apply for our 2012 Education Bursary now by filling out our application form online or writing to us to explain why you would like the bursary.
