Our Digital First Pilot has been shortlisted in the Digital Involvement category for this year’s TPAS Cymru Participation Awards.
The Melin Digital First initiative engaged 50 residents to test out our online services for three months. For their participation, we gave them low-cost Android tablets and offered digital inclusion support. We had two purposes: to increase residents’ digital inclusion and to engage them on the redesign of our online services.
During the project, ...residents’ were much more digitally active, even if they already had other devices. We also collected valuable feedback on how our services should function, and had many of our assumptions challenged along the way.
The awards ceremony will take place in Llandudno on July 14th.
