Reporting a repair
There are several ways you can report a repair:
Online, by email and by phone or text.
Between Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm you can report all repairs by freephone on 0800 9753 149.
You can also text us your problem on 07781472210 - make sure you include your house number, postcode and brief decription of the problem.
If you have an emergency, outside office hours you must call 01495 325333.
How do I know if my repair is an emergency?
- Emergency repairs are those that are likely to cause a danger to health or serious damage to the property such as flooding or gas leaks
- Urgent repairs are those that need to be carried out quickly to avoid serious damage to your home, such as lack of heating or hot water
- Routine repairs are day-to-day repairs such as blocked gutters or repairs to kitchen units
- Gas leaks should be reported immediately on 0800 111 999
What you can expect from us when you report a repair:
- We are committed to dealing with repairs efficiently and to your satisfaction
- We will issue you with an individual call reference number
- We will tell you who you can expect to call for example, a contractor or maintenance surveyor
- We wll tell you how long it will take for the repair to be carried out
- We will arrange with you how to access the property
- We will provide advice on any preventative action that can be taken such as turning the water off in case of a leak
- We will tell you what immediate help can be provided. such as portable heating if your own cannot be repaired immediately
