Anti-Social Behaviour Policies
Melin Homes is committed to tackling anti-social behaviour in the communities in which we provide homes. Our aim is to improve your quality of life and create a safe environment for you to live in.
As a responsible landlord we will :
-
Record and monitor all incidents of anti-social behaviour.
Respond to serious incidents within 24 hours. For example, threats of violence.
Respond to all other complaints within 3 working days.
Keep complainants informed of progress in all cases.
Write to all parties at the end of a case.
Use preventative and enforcement action.
Provide appropriate support to complainants
Work in partnership with other agencies to solve problems.
Review working practices with residents on an annual basis.
We expect you to accept that you have a responsibility not only to your immediate neighbours but also to the wider community to prevent and/or minimize anti-social behaviour.
You must take responsibility for your own actions and behaviour and also those of every person (including children) living in your home or visiting. This responsibility extends to the general vicinity around your home.
If you are aware of any problems, or suffering from anti-social behaviour yourself, please complete our on-line form or contact us on 08453 101102.
