The Welsh Government Warm Homes Arbed project, working with Merthyr Tydfil Council, has invested over £3.5 million improving the energy efficiency of 293 homes in Twynyrodyn, Merthyr Tydfil.

It’s a bug’s life

Jane Hutt AM visited Being Greener’s community benefit project in Gibbonsdown. The team has worked with local contractors SMK and Gibson to deliver over £10,000 worth of benefit to the school, including building a pond, donating plants, mini beast hunting and pond equipment, benches, repainting and general maintenance of school grounds.

A bird’s eye view

After delivering energy efficiency measures to 156 properties in Llanelli, the Being Greener team have been working with Bigyn Primary School and have trained 13 junior green energy champions, and run a competition with the school children to design a dream bird house.
