We do all we can to look after your homes, we also take pride in helping to build communities. At Melin, we are about more than just bricks and mortar. We love getting involved with our communities, engaging with our residents and getting to know them better.
We all live with others, in our homes, streets, towns and villages, so why not show some support for your community and get involved?
Your community is a big deal and we will help you to make it a place to be proud of. We do our bit to build communities but we can't do it alone. By giving your support, not only will you help others to feel part of a strong neighbourhood, you will also be key to helping us shape and improve the services we provide you, your families and your neighbours.
There are many ways in which you can become involved with Melin. You can apply to join the Residents' Panel committee, work with our Communities & Enterprise Department when we are working in your area. You can also pop along to our Annual General Meeting held every September.
We have a small army of volunteers, including staff, who give their time to help us out with everything from community clean ups to face-painting on fun days. We host events in your communities, and can provide information and advice on everything from finding a job to getting online. We also have a youth forum called The Volume, made up of willing volunteers who give us valuable feedback and help to shape our services.
So if you see us out and about on the Melin Bus, come and talk to us! We would love to hear from you. Or you can get in touch with the Communities Team on 01495 745910.
