We have entered The Sunday Times 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to work for the last five years, and 2019 didn’t disappoint coming 11th has seen yet another improvement. Each year just keeps getting better and better.

Best Companies is fantastic reward and recognition for all the hard work of our dedicated and caring staff. Our people know that we aim do our best for our residents and the communities we work in. Maybe that’s why we were awarded three stars for ‘extraordinary levels of workplace engagement.’

Don’t take our word for it, here’s what our staff have to say;

“Melin is all about doing the right thing, whether it be for it's people, it's residents or for the community. It has a real family ethos and I am proud to play my part in making it the successful organisation it has become.

“Melin has a great culture, great people and a vision to make a real difference to the lives of the residents and communities we serve.”

There is a buzz of excitement around the office and here’s why;
  • We came 11th in the Sunday Times Top 100 not-for-profit organisations to work for in 2019,
  • We're the highest ranked best Not-For-Profit Organisation to work for in Wales,
  • We were awarded a three star accreditation for extraordinary levels of work place engagement.
96% of staff agreed Melin encourages charitable activities and 82% said they are happy with the work/life balance.

Paula Kennedy, Chief Executive said; “11th place is something to be really proud of. These awards really matter to us at Melin because they are based on how staff genuinely feel about where they work. I would like to thank everyone at Melin for making it a fantastic place to work.”
