We caught up with local football team Ponthir AFC Under 11’s who accessed community funding through our Jump2 grant. We couldn’t think of a better story to share this International Women’s Day when the theme is #inspireinclusion and that’s the culture of the Ponthir Team. The coaches and players create a friendly, fun and inclusive environment which underpins every training session, match and social event. Over the last year the team have flourished and grown in confidence, everyone is welcome to join the team, they recognise that everyone should have the opportunity to play, whatever their ability.

It’s stories like these which show how important our Jump2 Fund is to communities and people and how our small cash injection can make a difference and #inspireinclusion.

To truly include women means to openly embrace their diversity, through inclusion in our communities, at work, at home, and beyond. People's needs aren't always the same and we as an employer and housing provider recognise that people are different, but individually and collectively we can inspire inclusion.

Seeing how our Jump2 Fund has supported inclusivity in our communities is fantastic and testament to the reason we have this fund available.

We have also been raising awareness all week and chatting to staff about how they will #inspireinclusion. Join us and millions of others and strike the #InspireInclusion pose to show solidarity. When we truly value difference, inclusion comes from the heart.
