New residents moved into Melin Homes’ latest £1.4m development in the heart of Pontypool this week. Built by R&M Williams for the Torfaen based Housing Association, the development comprises of 20 one and two bed apartments on the former Dancers' Club on Forge Lane. One of the residents, Alison Evans said of moving into the flats; “It’s made such a difference to me and my daughter, we’ve been through a lot and this is a new start for us. The flat is absolutely beautiful, and I can’t thank Melin enough.”

Mark Gardner, Chief Executive of Melin, said; “It gives me great pleasure to welcome our newest residents to Forge Lane, particularly as this development is right in the heart of Pontypool town centre.
