Christmas donations to local charities

Our staff have been donating to various different charities and appeals across the Gwent area this Christmas. They have donated 29 Christmas parcels to the SLS (www.streetsarnies.org) appeal to make sure homeless and vulnerable people receive a Christmas gift. We also donated a huge amount of food and advent calendars to the Eastern Valley Foodbank and 55 gifts for young people in Torfaen for the Council’s Annual Santa appeal.
During this month, we have been on our annual 'Santa Runs' across all our areas, which brings some Christmas cheer to our residents and lets Santa give out presents to local school children.
