We have a new training opportunity for anyone interested in a qualification that can seriously boost employability. We’ve been talking to local employers and some of the important skills they look for in new recruits include:

In collaboration with world renowned technology company CISCO, we are delivering IT training with a difference. The training will equip participants with all of these key skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of computer technology.
Perhaps you’re looking to get back into work after taking time out, looking to start your career with the best possible skills or just keep your CV as competitive as possible for working in the modern office environment. This training is the ideal first step towards taking control of your career. It will be delivered in partnership with Torfaen’s Communities First, and is made up of personal reading, labs and assessment at our Digital Hub in Blaenavon. The hours are flexible so you can chose when to complete it and certified Melin instructors will be there to provide hands-on support, facilitate learning and track student progress.
