Award Success for our Being Greener Team
Congratulations to our Being Greener team on their success at the Energy Efficiency Regional Awards on the 15th February 2017.

The team won Best Large Scale Project beating 6 other entries! The project was funded through Welsh Government Warm Homes, Eco. The team worked with Local Authorities in Merthyr Tydfil, Carmarthenshire, Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan and Blaenau Gwent to deliver energy efficiency work to 765 properties. This equates to a lifetime carbon saving of 14,000 tonnes. What does that really look like? That would be about the same weight as 14,000 adult giraffes!
David Bolton, Assistant Director of the team said "I am immensely proud of the team, and our excellent working relationship with Local Authorities across south Wales. We are very excited with the recent announcement from Welsh Government that they will be investing £104 million over the next 4 years in energy schemes.”
The team were pleased to receive a highly commended for their Vulnerable Customer Project.
