We're thrilled to announce that our project has been shortlisted in the ‘Involving Tenants in Shaping Services’ category.

Listen Act and Learn is a new initiative at Melin, drawing together the work that different Melin teams do with residents, identifying trends, gathering resident concerns, complaints, compliments and working together to make improvements to our services wherever possible.

Listening to our residents is not just a regulatory requirement, it makes good business sense. We exist to help our residents and communities to thrive, so having their say on what we do is fundamentally important.

We know, we need to do all we can to,

Listen to what residents say,

Act on their views where we can, and

Learn from their opinions; changing and improving what we do when we can.

The project also aims to boost engagement with our residents by ensuring that we let people know what we have done because of them sharing their opinions with us. This will in turn, foster stronger connections between us and help to make our services the best they can be for our residents.

Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, and as the people who use our services, they are best placed to show us where we can make things even better. This is something which is embedded in our culture at Melin, so we are really pleased that Listen Act and Learn has been recognised by the TPAS judges.”
