If you’re struggling for money to buy food, foodbanks provide emergency food during crisis situations such as redundancy, benefit delays or receiving an unexpected bill. If you are looking to visit a foodbank over the festive period, we have listed all the opening hours for the following local areas.

Eastern Valley Foodbank, Hope Centre, Unit 5 Pavillion Industrial Estate, Pontnewynydd NP4 6NF
Christmas Eve Monday 24th December (1pm–4pm). Closed over the Christmas period and will re-open on Wednesday 2nd January 2019.

Monday 24th and Friday 28th December 2018 – OPEN 10am–12noon.
Wednesday 26th and Monday 31st December 2018 - Closed.
