STAR Satisfaction Surveys

The STAR surveys are out

We will be sending this year’s STAR satisfaction survey very soon. Please fill them in and send them back to us – one resident will win £150 in vouchers if they do. Some residents may also receive a phone call from the survey providers to answer some questions.

This year the survey is being run by a company called Arena Partnership, the answers are completely confidential and anonymous. Here is some more information on the surveys and what they mean to you.

What is STAR?

STAR stands for Satisfaction of Tenants and Residents. It’s a recognised resident and tenant survey that’s used across England and Wales by housing providers to find out what tenants/residents think about our services that we offer. We may post it as a questionnaire or call you to ask you some satisfaction questions.

Do I have to fill in a survey/give answers on the phone?

No, it is your choice as our resident to complete the survey or give answers on the phone. However, if you do, your details will be entered into a prize draw with the chance of winning £150 in high street vouchers in time for Christmas. You will need to send it by the end of November 2015.

Is it confidential and will my information be safe?

We use an independent company to collect all the responses from residents. It is completely anonymous and we cannot see individual responses if you don’t want us to. If you do want to pass on your comments then you can tick the box at the end of the survey and we can get back to you. In terms of your information being safe, all your information is handled securely and in line with the Data Protection Act 1998.

How will I find out about the results?

We will make the results available over the next few months. This will be available on our website and residents newsletter. We will also be letting you know what we are doing to address your feedback throughout the year with our ‘You said, we did’ commitment.
